From manicures and wreath making to complimentary fizz and canapés on arrival, The Engine Room Restaurant at Poundbury Gardens has the ultimate ladies night lined up on Thursday 27 November 2014 from 7pm – 10pm, all in aid of Weldmar Hospicecare Trust, an independent charity offering support for people with cancer and other life-limiting diseases in Dorset.
With free canapé making demonstrations, the chance to peruse the award-winning Christmas displays and a charity raffle, ladies are invited to indulge and get ready for the festivities. Cath Collins, farm shop and restaurant area manager at The Gardens Group, explains: “We’ve worked with Weldmar Hospicecare Trust for many years now, and this year we wanted to offer our customers the chance to come and treat themselves, learn the art of wreath making and gain some festive cooking tips along the way.”
Jonathan Panton, business and e-commerce fundraising manager at Weldmar Hospicecare Trust, adds: “We are extremely grateful to the team at Poundbury Gardens and The Engine Room Restaurant for their continued support. Each year they host such fantastic events and we’re sure this year will be no exception.”
There will be a small suggested donation for the wreath making and manicures, while The Engine Room’s bar will be open throughout the evening. Tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the door and are available now in The Engine Room Restaurant.
