Added on 26 June 2013

Open air Theatre Company Illyria is back in The Walled Garden at Castle Gardens for the fourth year running and this year guests can enjoy Babe The Sheep Pig on Saturday 29 June and William Shakespeare's comedy As You Like It on Wednesday 17 July.

Tickets are now on sale from Castle Gardens, New Road, Sherborne Dorset, DT9 5NR and online via www.illyriatheatre.co.uk.

Babe The Sheep Pig, a play by David Wood based on the book by Dick King-Smith, is a heart-warming tale of friendship, courage and one pig's determination to save his bacon. As You Like It, a comedy by William Shakespeare, tells the story of four people who each find their soul mates in the Forest of Arden. One pair leap straight into bed, another are instantly struck by each other's beauty, the third tease each other endlessly - while the fourth enjoy a courtship that is so witty and playful that love itself is stretched to the limit.

"A picnic, a rug and a sense of humour is all people need to bring along on the night. It's a great show to enjoy with a group of friends, family old and young and we want to have a full house so that Illyria get all the atmosphere they deserve," said Mike Burks of Castle Gardens.
