Watch out for The Twits in the walled garden – you may smell them before you see them!

A picnic, a rug and a sense of humour - bring them along on Saturday, June 30th to watch The Twits - performed by open air theatre company Illyria in the Walled Garden at Castle Gardens, Sherborne.

Written by Roald Dahl, The Twits is the story of Mr & Mrs Twit who never wash and loathe each other! Described as slimy, sticky, funny and with a huge amount of slapstick - this promises to be a performance that children and adults alike will love.

"We have always had a great night when Illyria performs at Castle Gardens as the Walled Garden makes a perfect sheltered stage for the actors and for the audience. I have read that one of the performers was treated for concussion recently so what the actors get up to is anyone's guess! It's a great show to bring along a group of friends, family old and young and we want to have a full house so that Illyria get all the atmosphere they deserve ," said Mike Burks of Castle Gardens.

Tickets are available from Castle Gardens, New Road, Sherborne Dorset, DT9 5NR.
